The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday announced the central contracts and player retainership for the 2024-25 season, with Test captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli maintaining their spots in the top bracket of the annual list despite retirements from the T20I format.
Besides Rohit and Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja have also been named in the Grade A+ contracts. Notably, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan have also made they way back to the annual contracts after missing out on the list last year for their absence in domestic matches.
