Apple ‘Glowtime’ Event: Apple has announced a special event named “It’s Glowtime,” which is likely to be the launch stage for the much-awaited iPhone 16 series. The iPhone 16 series might comprise the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. A series of leaks and rumours have surfaced about the iPhone 16 ahead of its launch. Recently, the prices of iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max have surfaced online.
Apple has not yet made any official announcements regarding the price of any of the iPhone 16 models, so we would advise our readers to take this information with a pinch of salt.

Apple’s iPhone 16 Event: iPhone 16 Series Price (Expected)
The report suggests that the iPhone 16 could be priced around $799 (approximately Rs 66,300), while the iPhone 16 Plus might start at $899 (about Rs 74,600).
For the Pro models, the iPhone 16 Pro is expected to begin at $1,099 (approximately Rs 91,200), and the iPhone 16 Pro Max might have a starting price of $1,199 (around Rs 99,500).
It’s worth noting that if these estimated prices are accurate, the iPhone 16 series may be priced similarly to the previous iPhone 15 series.
Apple’s iPhone 16 Event: iPhone 16 Series Display, Camera (Expected)
The iPhone 16 series is also rumoured to feature bigger screen displays for the Pro models. Apple iPhone 16 and 16 Plus may retain the display size of 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch, but could see a jump in the refresh rate. The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, are tipped to come with a bigger screen size of 6.3-inch and 6.9-inch.
On the camera front, Apple may bring the tetraprism lens, previously exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, to iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, says analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The tetraprism lens on new iPhones is tipped to offer a 5x zoom capability.
Apple’s iPhone 16 Event: iPhone 16 Series Design (Expected)
Rumors suggest that Apple may reintroduce vertically-aligned camera modules with the iPhone 16 series, moving away from the horizontally-aligned setup seen in the iPhone 15 series. Additionally, it is anticipated that Apple will replace traditional physical buttons with capacitive touch-sensitive buttons that mimic the sensation of pressing an actual button.
Furthermore, the Action Button, currently featured on the iPhone 15 Pro models, is expected to be included in the standard iPhone 16 models as well.
Apple’s iPhone 16 Event: iPhone 16 Series Software (Expected)
Regarding software, the 2024 iPhones are expected to operate on the iOS 18 system, which was unveiled in June this year. The regular iPhone models, including the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, are anticipated to feature the A18 Bionic chipset.
Meanwhile, the Pro versions, namely the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, are likely to be equipped with the more advanced A18 Pro processor.
