Making a case for UNSC reforms one more time, PM Modi sought to know why the UN was unable to prevent conflicts and why it hadn’t even been able to arrive at a definition of terrorism till now. “If we do an introspection, we will find that the institutions of the previous century are not suited to the arrangements of the 21st century. They don’t reflect the current realities,” Modi said at the G7 summit in Hiroshima on Sunday.“This is why it’s important that reforms are carried out in institutions like the UN.
