NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli added another feat to his decorated career by becoming the first batter ever to score 7000 runs in the history of the Indian Premier League on Saturday.

Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan features second on the list of all time leading run-scorers with 6536 runs in 213 matches. Delhi Capitals’ captain David Warner is third with 6189 runs from 171 matches followed by Rohit Sharma (6063 in 237 matches).
Kohli also held the record of scoring most runs in a single IPL season when he amassed 973 runs in 16 matches with four hundreds in the 2016 edition.
The former RCB skipper is having a sublime form in the current IPL season as he has smashed five half-centuries so far.
