NEW DELHI: Ace India boxer Nitu Ghanghas on Saturday etched her name in history books, becoming the world champion in the 48kg weight category in the ongoing Women’s World Boxing Championships in the national capital.
The 22-year-old defeated Mongolia’s Lutsaikhan Altansetseg in the final for the gold. Nitu registered a dominating 5-0 win over the Mongolian opponent.
