NEW DELHI/ LUCKNOW: A TTE who was removed from service on Tuesday for urinating on a woman passenger was not on duty at the time of the incident and was travelling to Saharanpur, where he was posted.The victim’s husband, a deputy station superintendent in the railways, alleged Munna Kumar, the accused, was drunk when he peed on the victim’s head. Both were in coach number A1.Kumar, who was caught by fellow passengers after he committed the offence, was remanded in judicial custody. He has been booked under IPC Sections 352 (use of criminal force), 354A (physical contactand advances involving unwelcome and explicit sexual overtures) and 509 (insulting the modesty of a woman).The Northern Railway, in its removal order, said the ticket checker’s conduct “construes a serious misconduct not ...
