NEW DELHI: Young Australia pacer Jhye Richardson will miss the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League, which starts from March 31.
Richardson will miss the entire 16th edition of the tournament as the 26-year-old recently underwent a surgery for hamstring issues.
Richardson was set to join Mumbai Indians, in what would have been his second stint in the IPL after previously featuring in a season with Punjab Kings.
He was earlier ruled out of the three ODIs against India beginning March 17.

The 26-year-old has played three Tests, 15 ODIs and 18 T20Is for Australia.
