Final year MBBS exams to be held offline on Monday, says MUHS – Times of India

MUMBAI: Final year MBBS exams will be held offline on March 8. After parents and students approached the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) seeking online exams due to the rise in Covid cases, officials said it was unfeasible.

The students voiced concerns over many colleagues testing positive. The university said asymptomatic students can attempt the exam from a separate room in isolation at the exam centre.

Ajit Pathak, controller of exams, MUHS, said the varsity’s jurisdiction spreads across the state and many colleges are in remote, hilly areas. Therefore, internet connectivity will be a concern, said Pathak.
