Huami Amazfit Bip S smartwatch to launch in India on June 3 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Huami is all set to launch its new smartphone Amazfit Bip S in India. The company has showcased the smartwatch earlier this year at CES 2020 in Las Vegas, US. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Amazfit Bip S in India on June 3.

The smartwatch comes with Huami-PAI company’s own indicator of personal activity which offers details about your heart health and overall fitness. The Amazfit Bip S features a 1.28-inch always-on touchscreen display with 176×176 pixel resolution. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top.

The smartwatch offer notifications for calls, emails, messages, and other third party apps. The device also comes with 10 sports modes which include indoor running, cycling, walking, yoga, and others. The Amazfit Bip S features an optical heart rate sensor and it is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.

Users can also control music on their phones with the help of the smartwatch. The wearable is also water-resistant up to 50 meters. Measuring 42 x 35.3 x 11.4mm, the smartwatch houses a 200 mAh battery which promises to offer up to 30 days of battery backup on a single charge.

Recently, Huami launched its Amazfit Ares smartwatch in China. The company has priced the device at 499 yuan (Rs 5,301) and its USP is that it comes with 70 sports modes which include outdoor running, cycling, Yoda, indoor running, walking, dance, swimming, archery, and more. The Amazfit Ares features Bluetooth 4.2 and is compatible with devices running Android 5.0 and iOS 10 and above.
