KOLKATA: Schools in West Bengal will remain closed till June 30, the state government announced on Wednesday. Education Minister Partha Chatterjee said the decision was taken as several school buildings were damaged by cyclone Amphan in eight districts and there is also a possibility that some of the buildings may be used as quarantine centres for the migrant workers. The government had earlier announced that schools will remain closed till June 10. CBSE students can take board exam from their current district – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Students who are currently not in the same district as their board examination centre can take the CBSE board exam in their home district itself, HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal announced on Wednesday. “CBSE has decided that students who went back to their home states/districts can inform their schools and students will be permitted to write exams in the district where they currently are in.
