Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition bundle has been made free by developer Square Enix on the PlayStation Store in select countries including India till May 26.

Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition bundle includes Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, and also, a 30-day free play period, whereas the XIV Online requires a monthly subscription. The Online Starter Edition would be perfect for newcomers, as per the developer.

There are plenty of characters to choose from and as regards to exploration, you have hundreds of quests. Since this is an MMORPG, you can join your friends also. The game allows cross-platform play, so those of you who have it on PC can join their PS4 buddies. The game has a flexible Armoury System to experience all the classes/jobs through a single character. You can build your own estate or design even a private Airship.

Square Enix recently offered its Eidos Anthology consisting of 54 games at almost 95% discount to help raise money for charity in North America and Europe. The Eidos Anthology pack included games from franchises like Deus Ex, Hitman, Tomb Raider and Just Cause. For fans of real-time strategy games, the pack also has Supreme Commander 2. All these and more were made available at Rs 1,410 after a discount of almost 95%. All the titles, if purchased separately, would cost Rs 28,529 in total. The discount was part of Square Enix’s Stay Home & Play Campaign that encourages social distancing.
